Kick start your week right with new Lewis Capaldi, Jimothy Lacoste and The Blinders
It’s official, Leeds was now a whole month ago and autumn has officially arrived. Seriously, it’s all downhill after that bank holiday weekend.
Lighten the mood with some of the best new releases from our 2018 line up. Delve into the new musical delights and try to forget about how damn cold it feels.
Lewis Capaldi smashes a dance routine in ‘Grace’
We bet you never thought you’d be watching Lewis Capaldi gyrate around a pole on a Monday, but hey – it’s there for us all to enjoy. ‘Grace’ is the latest single to be released by the Scottish singer-songwriter and focuses on being with someone who ‘makes any negative sh*t going on in your life feel irrelevant”.
Brockhampton leave us speechless with ‘Iridescence’
The hardest working boy band in showbiz blessed us with their brand new and very difficult to spell new album on Friday. ‘Iridescence’ really is just them out there being absolutely genuine and loud about how much they all love each other. We’re 110% here for it.
Jimothy Lacoste looks like a milli in his new ‘Fashion’ video
We’re going to need a Jimothy dance tutorial asap. After teaching us all Spanish, Jimothy’s back with ‘Fashion’ which sees him don some impressive shades, zebra-print shoes and is also accompanied by a real zebra. Well, what else did we expect really?
Congrats Wolf Alice!
BBC Radio 1 Stage headliners, Wolf Alice, walked away with one of this year’s biggest music prizes – the Hyundai Mercury Prize 2018. Their second album, ‘Visions Of A Life’ scooped up the accolade after being praised as ‘an exuberant tapestry of swirling pop, grunge and indie guitar rock’. Sounds decent to us.
The Blinders stun with their sophomore album, ‘Columbia’
Snarly guitars, gritty bass and infectious pop culture references weaved in for good measure. Sounds like something you’d be in to? You better get The Blinders’ ‘Columbia’ on your playlists right this instant.
We’re busy working behind the scenes to ensure Leeds 2019 is bigger and better than ever before. Want to be prepared? Get your tickets for next year now and pay 2018 prices.
