Please be patient while we carry out our security checks and searches, which take place at the campsite gates, the Arena entrance and may also happen at any time at any location onsite.

Our security staff are there for your safety – please cooperate with them as they work to keep us all safe and sound. Some are covert, but most are obvious by their green or white tabard. Always go to them if you need help. The medical tent is fully staffed, open 24/7 and located on Baker Lane in the Yellow Campsite.

There are security measures you will see and of course ones that you can’t. The whole site is monitored throughout by staff on the ground along with an extensive CCTV system watched round the clock by a team of monitors in a fully staffed Event Control.

Diplo lights up the BBC Radio 1 stage

People covered in UV paint and obscene amounts of glitter packed into the dance tent until they were spilling out of the sides, ready to dance the night away.

Diplo was met by a chorus of screaming fans as white spotlights lit the room.
It was bucket hats galore as the crowd danced to the classic party tunes with no signs of slowing down. Even outside the tent the atmosphere was buzzing, as the music could be heard throughout the arena.

Smoke and fire machines erupted on the stage as ‘Lean On’ played and fans jumped in unison. A mash up of Usher’s ‘Yeah!’ and DJ Snake’s ‘Turn Down for What’ sent everyone crazy as black and white images of him blasted across the screen and yet more fire filled the stage.

Other huge tunes like Cardi B’s ‘I Like It’ and Kanye West’s ‘Power’ were mixed in a way that only someone as talented as Diplo could pull off and the crowd were going mad for it. Confetti filled the room as he played the massive Justin Bieber track ‘Where Are U Now’ and purple lasers circled the tent.

What a way to end the day!

Kings of Leon live up to their reputation

Kings of Leon live up to their reputation

Tonight was a perfect example of why Kings of Leon continue to be one of the most widely-adored and critically-acclaimed bands around the world.

Led by Caleb Followill’s unique and emotive vocals, the crowd were hypnotised throughout by an eclectic mix of old and new songs spanning their varied and spellbinding discography. Whether it was the refined favourites of recent years such as ‘Find Me’ and ‘Waste A Moment’ or the rugged classic ‘Molly’s Chambers’; each song was delivered impeccably and warmly received by the masses, especially ‘Sex on Fire’.

One thing of real note was the sheer quality of the show as an overall experience. The lighting and video were varied and intricate throughout, depicting images of everything from veiled brides to painted nails clutching mirrors. A night that truly will live long in the memories of all lucky enough to be here.

We hope the band never kick the bucket as we could have listened to them until the red morning light and beyond.
