The Main Stage was packed for the Liverpool band, who put on a show filled with guitar solos and their famous tongue-in-cheek lyrics that the fans love so much.
Fruity graphics bounced across the screen for their track ‘Lemon to a Knife Fight’ (just in case you didn’t know what a lemon looked like) before returning to their signature wombat cartoons. Wombat cheerleaders also danced along the stage.
Their lyrics ‘shut up and move with me’ worked a treat as fans threw their hands in the air and jumped around, proving to lead singer Matthew Murphy just how mental Leeds can get.
The band sparked laughs from the crowd when they played what they called ‘elevator music’, which Matthew described as ‘horrendous’ but continued to play anyway.
Fan-favourite ‘Moving to New York’ was a real hit as the crowd threw themselves around and screamed the lyrics in pure bliss.
It might be 11 years since ‘Let’s Dance to Joy Division’ was released, but the fans were still as happy to hear it today as they were back then.
