Red lasers roamed the room as he opened with bangers from artists like Drake and 50 Cent. The whole crowd danced, screamed and threw giant inflatable beach balls around.

When Charlie asked, “Are you ready Leeds?” it was a unanimous ‘yes’ from the buzzing crowd. He stopped the music halfway through ‘Party Up’ by DMX, and the whole crowd was in chorus for the iconic ‘up in here, up in here’ line. Stormzy’s ‘Shut Up’ was another huge hit as everyone screamed at the top of their lungs.

Massive tunes like ‘Did You See’ by J Hus and ‘Bodak Yellow’ by Cardi B were mixed into each other as Charlie asked the crowd to chant his name and the tent erupted. The crowd became a whirlwind of laser beams reflecting on metallic windbreakers and a sea of waving arms.

He ended his set by encouraging everyone to put their arms around the person next to them and dance to ‘One Love’ by Bob Marley, a magical moment of love and happiness in a very sweaty dance tent.

There’s one thing Charlie Sloth definitely knows how to do, and that’s putting a set together that will keep the crowd jumping all day.
