Vote Leeds

Today's the day. Whilst voting is going on up and down the country, we too are looking for a Mayor for Leeds Festival.

Backstage access? Check. Free lunch? Check. A chance to meet your favourite band? Check. The ultimate VIP prize? Check! Check! Check! We need YOU to be our very own Lord or Lady Mayor of Leeds Festival in what promises to be the VIP FESTIVAL EXPERIENCE of the summer. 

All you have to do is nominate yourself on our Facebook page and choose your five favourite festival tracks. Simple!

You've got 2 weeks before nominations close. We’ll then draw 5 Mayoral candidates, at random, on Friday 18th May. Then the fun really begins - voting opens! The candidate with the highest votes on Friday 1st June will be the official Lord or Lady Mayor and will open the festival in August.

As esteemed Leeds Festival Mayor you will bag the following incredible prizes:

- Get a ticket upgrade to VIP for you and a friend, where you'll be able to camp in the Guest Area
- Lunch backstage with a festival VIP
- Watch a band from side of stage
- Transport to the festival
- Signed programme

Politicians' expenses couldn't even buy this prize.

You must have a weekend ticket in order to be considered as a candidate. You wouldn't want to be stuck outside the festival. How embarassing.
