The Offspring - Main Stage

Return to the Main Stage with a hit laden display

American punk four-piece The Offspring returned to the Leeds Main Stage for the first time since 2004, bringing them all the hits that have seen them sell tens of millions of albums since their beginnings way back in 1986.

Feeling like they’d never been away, the Californian group powered their way through their deep back catalogue, with tracks including ‘I Want You Bad,’ ‘Why Don’t You Get A Job?’ and ‘Pretty Fly (For A White Guy)’ all getting an airing. Their absence clearly hadn’t left them fading in the memory either, the Main Stage packed with revellers and circle pits being formed throughout.

Among the highlights was ‘Americana’ hit single ‘The Kids Aren’t Alright,’ delivered with the same edgy passion and vitality that it was during live shows back when it was first aired in 1998.

Finishing after fifty minuets of non-stop pop-punk energy, The Offspring ensured that for as long as they’re around, they’ll always be a slot available to them at Leeds.
